Key Responsibilities:
Graphic Design:
Create high-quality graphics for web, social media, email marketing, and print materials.
Design visually appealing banners, product images, infographics, and promotional content.
Brand Identity and Guidelines:
Maintain and evolve the visual identity of Kanemtrade in line with the brand guidelines.
Ensure consistency in design across all marketing channels and platforms.
User Interface (UI) Design:
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and visually appealing website elements.
Design engaging interfaces and user experiences that align with business goals.
Digital Content Creation:
Develop digital assets, including social media graphics, animated GIFs, icons, and illustrations.
Work with the marketing team to create content that enhances campaigns and promotions.
Print Design:
Design print materials such as brochures, flyers, posters, and packaging.
Prepare print-ready files and coordinate with printers to ensure quality production.
Collaborative Projects:
Work closely with the marketing, product, and content teams to support their design needs.
Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop creative concepts and campaigns.
Image Editing and Retouching:
Edit and retouch product photos to enhance visual appeal and quality.
Optimize images for web and mobile to ensure fast loading times without sacrificing quality.
Prototyping and Mockups:
Create prototypes and mockups to visualize design concepts and present ideas to stakeholders.
Use tools like Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma to develop interactive prototypes.
Creative Input and Innovation:
Provide creative input for new design concepts and marketing strategies.
Stay updated on design trends, tools, and best practices to bring fresh ideas to the team.
Quality Assurance:
Review and proof all design work to ensure accuracy and alignment with brand standards.
Conduct quality checks on final designs, ensuring they are error-free and visually consistent.
File Management and Organization:
Organize and maintain a library of design assets, templates, and files.
Ensure proper file management for easy access and use by other team members.
Vendor and Partner Coordination:
Work with external vendors, photographers, and agencies to execute design projects.
Provide clear design briefs and direction to ensure high-quality outputs.
Performance Tracking and Feedback:
Track the performance of visual content and use feedback to optimize designs.
Adjust and refine designs based on performance data and user feedback.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Visual Designer, Graphic Designer, or similar role.
Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Sketch, etc.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including digital and print.
Excellent understanding of design principles, color theory, typography, and layout.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for design.
Experience with ecommerce design is a plus.
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is an advantage.
